10 Corso Como
In Milan, Carla Sozzani opened Galleria Carla Sozzani in 1990 and transformed it into 10 Corso Como the following year. Based in a former garage, the space brought together photography and art exhibitions with fashion, design, books, food, and music through a curated format that joined culture and commerce. American artist Kris Ruhs shaped its visual identity, interiors, and logos, including the black-and-white circular motifs associated with the brand. The café opened in 1998, followed by the three-suite 3Rooms hospitality concept in 2003. In 2002, 10 Corso Como expanded beyond Italy through a Tokyo store created with Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons, and later developed international partnerships including Samsung in Seoul. Entrepreneur Tiziana Fausti acquired the trademark and became sole director in September 2020. The brand announced “Rethinking 10 Corso Como” in 2023, and its Milan gallery and project-room spaces were redesigned in 2024. Its eponymous fragrance was created in 1999 by Sozzani with perfumer Olivier Guillotin, with a composition centered on oud alongside floral, woody, and musky elements.
