A. N. Other

A.N. Other is a Miami-born fragrance house established in 2017 by Gilad Amozeg and Ariella Appelbaum. Its founding concept was to reduce perfume branding and marketing to essentials, directing attention to the fragrance and the perfumer who created it. The 2017 debut introduced a system of initials and release years in fragrance names and comprised four limited-edition, parfum-grade scents made by selected perfumers working without prescribed briefs. The house foregrounds perfumers as creative authors: David Apel is credited with Tango Americano (OR/2018), while Rodrigo Flores-Roux is associated with Sultry Green. Tango Americano was selected by Refinery29 for its list of ten niche perfumes to discover before anyone else, while WD/2018 was selected by Byrdie as one of the best perfumes of all time and by Vogue as its niche fragrance of the year. After a four-year gap following its 2020 releases, A.N. Other introduced two new fragrances in 2024.
