Aaron Terence Hughes is a British perfumer and founder of his eponymous independent perfume house, established in 2019. His early interest in perfumery developed while growing up on a flower farm in Cornwall, where he experimented with essential oils and crushed flowers on his skin to observe how aromas changed with warmth. He officially launched the brand in April 2019 after formal scientific study and years of fragrance experimentation. Hughes remains the house’s perfumer and creative source, creating fragrances through mood, intuition, and direct experience while exploring perfumery at the intersection of art, chemistry, and mathematics. The house emphasizes high-concentration compositions and an artisanal approach to creation. Its Archive is a permanent collection of earlier creations that shaped the brand’s history and are being reworked for current standards. Reissued in 2025, Raw Cherry Extreme was reconstructed as one of the community’s most requested fragrances.
