Fragrance house
Abdul Samad Al Qurashi
Abdul Samad Al Qurashi is a Saudi Arabian fragrance house whose family heritage in oud and perfume is traced to 1852. Abdul Samad Al Qurashi opened the brand’s first store in Mecca in 1932, selling oud, amber and perfumes. The founder traveled internationally to study fragrance materials and developed blends that combined flowers and herbs, helping the business evolve from oud trading into perfume composition. After his death, his four sons—Anas, Mohammad, Ihsan and Zouheir—took over the company, modernizing development while retaining the family name and focus on oud. The house’s olfactory identity centers on oud, amber, Dehn Al Oudh, Taif rose, sandalwood and musk, bringing traditional Gulf perfumery into modern commercial distribution. Body Musk, described as the brand’s top-selling blend, represents a fragrance tradition more than 80 years old.
