Accendis
Accendis is an Italian fragrance brand created by Emy Rodriquens Cesaroni, who was born in Milan and previously worked in perfume and cosmetics as an export manager and brand manager. Officially launched at Esxence in Milan in 2016, the brand takes its name from a Latin expression meaning “you illuminate,” linking it to the idea of bringing out aromas. Its creative concept centers on emotional or inner light, imagined as a metaphorical journey through life and expressed through fairy-tale imagery. Cesaroni shaped the visual identity with Pop Art and Neo Pop references, including flacons modeled on an everyday fuel container and book-shaped packaging. The inaugural collection comprised three fragrances, 0.1, 0.2, and Aclus; by 2018, the range had developed into “Blacks” and “Whites” groupings. Resins and woods recur across the fragrances as olfactory elements associated with energy and the force of life. Accendis was still listed among the exhibiting brands at Esxence in 2024.
