Acorelle
Acorelle is a French fragrance and beauty brand founded in 2006 in Lot-et-Garonne, southwestern France, by Régis Lelong as a natural, committed alternative to conventional cosmetics. It emerged within Laboratoire Odysud after Lelong acquired the Laurence Dumont laboratories and created a second laboratory devoted to certified organic cosmetics. From the beginning, Acorelle developed its identity around certified-organic, natural cosmetics and environmental responsibility, with natural bio perfumery as its first range. That perfumery was shaped by work with essential-oil specialists and Patty Canac’s olfactory-therapy approach, framing fragrance as something intended for personal well-being. From 2018, perfumer Katell Plisson undertook the renovation of Acorelle’s historical eaux de parfum with natural-materials sourceur Stéphane Piquart. In 2021, Sublime Tubéreuse won the Fragrance Foundation Awards’ Responsible Innovation Prize for a perfume. On 5 July 2024, Comptoir des Lys, part of Nature & Stratégie, purchased Laboratoire Odysud’s business assets, including Acorelle, and became its new owner.
