Acqua dell'Elba
Acqua dell’Elba was founded in 2000 in Marciana Marina on Elba Island by Fabio Murzi, Chiara Murzi, and Marco Turoni. The founders’ shared attachment to Elba, the sea, and perfume shaped an ambition to capture the island’s essence in fragrance. Its founding story also draws on a Roman shipwreck discovered in the Gulf of Procchio in 1967, where an ancient perfume-vessel stopper was found and adopted as a symbol of the project. The family-owned enterprise builds its creative identity around translating Elba and the Mediterranean into fragrance, with citrus, Mediterranean maquis, marine, and salty facets. Its first Classica line comprised two Eau de Parfums, one masculine and one feminine, and provided the starting point for personal and home fragrances and related body products. By its 25th anniversary, the brand also offered fabrics, accessories, and specialist collections. In June 2021, Acqua dell’Elba became a Società Benefit, formalizing commitments to its stakeholders, local community, territory, and environment; the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation was established in 2022 with work spanning environmental, educational, cultural, social, and artistic initiatives.
