Acqua di Baviera

Founded in 2016 by Nika Schottenhamel and Tobias Schnappinger, Acqua di Baviera is based in Grünwald near Munich. Its creative identity brings together Bavarian tradition and Italian cultural influence, presenting Munich as the “northernmost city of Italy” through a Bavarian-Italian dolce vita concept. The brand’s fragrances and related products are made exclusively in Bavaria with Bavarian-origin ingredients. Its five-part Premium Edition maps distinct facets of the region and its cultural setting: Monaco represents Munich, Nero evokes nightlife and elegance, Prato the Bavarian meadows, Monte the Bavarian mountains, and Lago the Bavarian lakes. A notable milestone was a limited fragrance edition presented in a hand-crafted Nymphenburg porcelain flacon, produced in an edition of 222 pieces.
