Acqua di Sardegna
Founded in Alghero, Sardinia, in 2008 by Mauro Aprea, Acqua di Sardegna builds its fragrance identity around the island’s sea, wind, rocks, plants, dunes, forests, history and traditions. Aprea serves as the brand’s founder, creative director and artistic creator, shaping scents intended to evoke Sardinia rather than present geographically neutral perfume concepts. From its initial ACQUA line, the brand expanded into collections including Maijda, Desvélos, Scalo Porto Cervo and Smeralda between 2010 and 2016. The 2014 arrival of Scalo Porto Cervo broadened the brand’s audience and marked a step toward greater popularity. In 2017, Acqua di Sardegna introduced Sandalia as a luxury collection described as its first niche line. The brand is currently presented and sold through Officina Profumiera Sarda S.r.l.
