Adi Ale Van

Founded in 2021 by artist Adi ale Van, Adi Ale Van is a Romanian artistic perfume house based in Râmnicu Vâlcea that produces fragrances in limited series. It began as the personal initiative of a handmade-perfume collector who, after years of searching for designs and scents that met his standards, decided to create his own brand. Adi ale Van personally paints and handmakes each bottle, lid, decoration, and box, so every piece is unique and marked “Hand made in Romania.” The house’s creative identity follows an olfactory journey through memory and time, drawing on Romanian folklore, childhood places and memories, Orthodox religion, antiquities, Jerusalem, and the anti-communist partisan struggle in the Muscel mountains. Its fragrance direction also includes ritual- and incense-oriented compositions connected to Romanian religious and folkloric memory.
