Adopt Parfums
Adopt Parfums originated in Bordeaux in 1986 as Réserve Naturelle, founded by Dominique Monlun around perfume and fashion accessories; its first Bordeaux boutique opened that year. By the mid-2010s, the business had taken the Adopt Parfums name and made perfume its central focus. In December 2015, ownership changed when NextStage AM and an entrepreneur group acquired the business from Monlun. The brand’s proposition is accessible French perfume: fragrances created with perfumers and made in France for a broad audience. Its fragrance offering spans fresh, floral, gourmand and fruity territories, and the brand encourages customers to vary scents with seasons, moods and occasions. In 2019, Adopt created a dedicated olfactory-creation unit, followed by the launch of the Les Voyages collection in 2022. Its Colibri programs, launched in 2023, support sustainable ingredient supply chains, biodiversity and local know-how. On 29 April 2025, Arkéa Capital joined the shareholding structure alongside existing investors and the entrepreneur team, while NextStage AM remained the majority shareholder. Adopt’s fragrance history includes successive best-sellers such as Yummy Candy and Musc Blanc.
