Fragrance house
Aether
ÆTHER was created in 2016 by Nicolas Chabot as a conceptual perfumery focused on synthetic molecules. Its original proposition was to make those molecules the subjects of complete perfume compositions, rather than isolated single-material fragrances. At launch, five fragrances were created by Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel under Chabot’s artistic direction. In spring 2018, the brand introduced the Supræm Series, a collection built around prominent synthetic ingredients and an expression of its molecular-perfumery concept. ÆTHER’s fragrance legacy is defined less by one individual scent than by this broader collection-based approach: a perfume wardrobe dedicated to synthetic molecules. The brand’s current official description also refers to natural ingredients. In May 2025, ÆTHER re-emerged with redesigned packaging while retaining its molecule-centered concept.
