Fragrance house
Al Haramain
Founded in 1970 by Kazi Abdul Haque, Al Haramain began as a perfume-trading business with stores in Makkah and Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Its origins are also associated with agarwood trading in Makkah, and its early fragrance work focused on oriental and agarwood-based perfumery. Haque’s son, Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, later developed the perfumery side of the business after encountering perfume distilleries in Ta’if, helping shape a specialist team in oriental fragrances. The Saudi-founded company evolved into a UAE-based international fragrance group with a presence spanning the Gulf, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and more than 100 countries. Its identity brings Islamic and Arabian fragrance heritage into modern perfumery, with oud, oriental, spicy, fresh-floral, and sweet-floral concepts. The Amber Oud Collection is among its most recognised fragrance families, while Amber Oud Gold Edition is identified among the brand’s globally best-selling oud perfumes.
