Al Shareef Oudh

Al Shareef Oudh is an Australian perfume house based in Perth, with a connection to Kelantan, Malaysia. Presented as a family business, it draws on three generations of experience in cleaning, grounding, and infusing oud, preparing and distilling fragrances through traditional methods. Its creative identity brings together Middle Eastern perfumery traditions, aging, wild and organic oud oils, and hand-prepared fragrances made with older methods. The documented fragrance record begins with Saqr in 2013 and reaches Elevation Parfum in 2023. The house is especially associated with oud-centered perfumery, reflected in its emphasis on oud oils, attars, incense, woods, and parfums, alongside its classification as an oil-fragrance house. Ishraaq Parfum, an Australian parfum documented in 2021, combines Hindi, Indonesian, and Malaysian oudhs with rose, musk, ambergris, myrrh, frankincense, leather, vetiver, cedar, and oriental resins.
