Alex Simone

Alex Simone is a Monte Carlo fragrance house founded by Eric Rousseau and named for his grandparents, Alex and Simone, whose glasshouse and garden helped shape its origin story. Alex Simone S.A.R.L. was constituted in Monaco on April 20, 2015, while reference material dates the fragrance brand’s founding to 2017. Rousseau’s creative direction draws on memories of the French Riviera and Monaco, alongside his shared vision of perfumery with Olivier Maure. Its original French Riviera collection comprised six unisex Eau de Parfums created in Grasse with Art et Parfum. Jean-Denis Saisse created the first three fragrances and Bertrand Duchaufour completed the collection, in collaboration with Rousseau. The sequence follows an ideal Côte d’Azur day from morning to night and is described as the foundation of the brand. Alex Simone combines French Riviera and Monaco heritage with contemporary fragrance creation and French craftsmanship. In March 2025, it entered new ownership, retained its minimalist aesthetic and bottle design, and replaced its previous editions with the Monaco and Monte Carlo collections.
