Alice & Peter

French fragrance line Alice & Peter launched in 2012, created by Gérald Ghislain and Magali Sénéquier, creative figures associated with Histoires de Parfums. Its creative concept combines childhood fantasy with references to Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. The debut arrived almost simultaneously as five fragrances—Bloody Orange, Fancy Choco, Showy Toffee, Cheery Cherry and Wicked Berry—and established a playful, light, sweet and confectionery-oriented style; Bloody Orange was described as a bubbly gourmand inspired by cupcakes. That fruity-gourmand direction is the clearest fragrance legacy supported by the available record. Ghislain’s wider creative practice, developed through founding Histoires de Parfums in 2000 as an olfactive library, centered on telling stories through fragrance.
