America's Next Top Model
America’s Next Top Model is a reality-television modeling competition created by Tyra Banks, who also served as executive producer with Ken Mok. It premiered on UPN in May 2003, following aspiring models who lived together, competed in challenges, and faced weekly eliminations for the title America’s Next Top Model. In 2006, the original series moved to The CW, becoming the network’s first show. The CW confirmed in October 2015 that the series would end after 22 seasons, with its final episodes scheduled for December that year. VH1 revived the franchise in 2016 with Rita Ora as host, while Banks returned to host the following cycle in 2017. The U.S. series ultimately ran for 24 cycles, concluded in 2018, and originated the international Top Model franchise. In 2026, Netflix’s three-part documentary Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model revisited the show’s history and controversies amid later critical reassessment of its creative legacy.
