Amouroud

Amouroud is an outgrowth of Perfumer’s Workshop, the fragrance business founded by Donald and Gun Bauchner in 1970. That company developed a luxury custom-blending model through counters at Bloomingdale’s, Harrods, and Selfridges, a concept Amouroud evolved. Perfumer’s Workshop International launched Amouroud in 2015, and the Amouroud Classic line followed in February 2016 with four fragrances after years of testing and reformulation. William Skinner is identified as the brand’s creator; having joined Perfumer’s Workshop in 1985, he shaped Amouroud’s use of oud within its custom-blending heritage. Oud is the brand’s defining fragrance family, used alongside flowers, woods, roots, herbs, and other materials rather than as the sole character of every composition. Wet Stone and Golden Oud are identified as Amouroud bestsellers. The brand is associated with Perfumer’s Workshop International, and the available evidence documents no later acquisition or sale.
