Anat Fritz

Anat Fritz Studio was founded in Germany in 2005, beginning with fashion-oriented design work. By 2026, the studio described its practice as multidisciplinary, spanning sculpture, spatial design, a perfume edition, and other design objects. Its current creative identity centers on HardSilk™, a patent-pending translucent sculptural medium that transforms silk into a structural, light-filtering material. A pandemic-era shift recorded in 2024 saw Fritz move from identifying primarily as a designer toward focusing on sculpture and Hard Silk. The studio’s fragrance history began with the eponymous Anat Fritz in 2006, followed by Tzora in 2012 and Classical in 2013. Created with perfumer Geza Schön and presented in a knitted cover, the first fragrance was later reworked as Classical. The eponymous scent is a unisex minimalist aromatic-woody composition built around lavender, cedar, and vetiver.
