Angel Schlesser

Angel Schlesser is a Spanish fashion company founded in 1983, with beginnings associated with Ángel Fernández Ovejero and Juan Rufete. It began in menswear before expanding into womenswear, whose identity was characterized by chic minimalism. The brand has participated regularly in Madrid’s principal fashion runway—formerly Pasarela Cibeles and now Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid—since 1988, and is a founding member of Spain’s Association of Fashion Creators. Its design language is associated with rationality, pure lines, neutral colours, simplicity and functional minimalist tailoring. Its first fragrance, Femme, launched in 1999 and was created by Alberto Morillas. El País describes Femme as a bestseller, while Vogue Spain calls it a classic of Spanish perfumery and connects its citrus-woody character with the concept of a modern, independent woman. On 31 January 2025, Angelini Industries announced an agreement for Give Back Beauty to acquire AB Parfums, formerly Angelini Beauty, including its brands and licenses; WWD identified Angel Schlesser among the Spanish fragrance licenses in that business.
