Angela Ciampagna
Angela Ciampagna Alta Profumeria Artigianale began in 2010 in a family-run artisanal workshop in Atri, a small town in central Italy. Before and alongside creating their own perfume house, Angela Ciampagna and Enrico Maraffino worked as ghost noses and private producers for niche and high-end brands; they shaped the house as a two-person creative and technical partnership, with Angela focused on fragrance design and Enrico on technical and production management. The brand made its first public debut at Esxence in Milan in March 2015. Its work joins inherited Italian workshop practices with contemporary creative research and carefully selected raw materials. The recurring symbol is the rose window of Atri Cathedral, associated with a dialogue between sacred and profane, craftsmanship and nobility, superstition and mysticism, and old customs and modernity. The 2022–2023 Virtus trilogy—Levis, Vis, and Virtus—was created as three olfactory reflections accompanying Angela’s mother’s illness, coma, and death. Miracula, the beating heart of the De Vita Collection, is built around an earthy treatment of Indian tuberose. The official website currently attributes the brand to LABEL FPTW SL, while MLPH presents Angela Ciampagna among its brands.
