Angelos Créations Olfactives

Angelos Créations Olfactives traces its work to 2014, when it set out to create original scents that join vintage techniques with a modern touch. Founder and perfumer Angelos Balamis studied perfumery privately in Paris, concentrating on vintage methods and natural and synthetic materials, before establishing his own olfactorium in Thessaloniki, where he develops proprietary accords and formulas. The Greek one-person business is owned by Balamis and presents artisanal creations made in Greece through traditional French perfume-making techniques with a modern twist. Its fragrance work includes Irida Extrait, a concentrated version of Irida released in late 2023 and named a finalist in the Artisan Category of the 2024 Art and Olfaction Awards. An independent editorial selection also singled it out as an outstanding iris fragrance, while its official description focuses on orris and iris materials. The brand’s commemorative Angeliki is issued annually in memory of Balamis’s grandmother and uses a chypre style chosen in reference to her enjoyment of vintage chypre perfumes. In 2026, the brand participated in Aroma: A Greek Scent Fair in Athens.
