Anima Vinci

Anima Vinci was founded by Nathalie Vinciguerra, with Jean-Laurent Dupont identified as a co-founder. Anima Vinci Ltd was incorporated in the United Kingdom on 16 November 2016. Vinciguerra brought experience from L’Oréal and from serving as Head of Fragrance Development for Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur between 2006 and 2015; her earlier creative work included developing Penhaligon’s Juniper Sling. Anima Vinci’s identity combined an aromatherapy-oriented approach with traditional perfumery, emphasizing fragrance’s emotional and wellbeing effects. Nature, botanicals, and memories of Corsica, reflecting Vinciguerra’s background, recurred in its creative references. Recyclable packaging and ingredients sourced from sustainable farms were presented as part of its creative and sourcing philosophy. The initial house concept was developed with multiple perfumers, including Randa Hammami, Thomas Fontaine, Christian Provenzano, and Michel Roudnitska. The company entered administration in 2020, which ended in 2022, and was dissolved on 14 March 2023.
