Anka Kuş Parfüm

Established in 2018, Anka Kuş Parfüm operates independently from Melbourne, Australia, under the legal name Firebird Fragrance Pty. Ltd. Ali Erkekli is the founder and perfumer behind the brand. Before founding Anka Kuş, he co-founded Fort & Manle with Rasei Fort and later left after their partnership broke down; Anka Kuş completed its first fragrance collection in 2019. Its creative identity draws on history, travel, faith, film, sport, art, literature, and pop culture, while its labels take cues from historical art, posters, and perfume design. The brand treats perfume as a medium of memory and emotion, creating olfactory journeys to other times and places with mostly absolutes and natural materials sourced internationally. Released in 2021, This Ember was a finalist in the Artisan category of the 2022 Art and Olfaction Awards and expresses a phoenix-rebirth narrative of fire, death, and renewal.
