antianti & organics

Established in Toyama, Japan, in April 2000, antianti & organics followed research into water and flowers that began around 1985. Its work spans organic cosmetics and natural fragrance, with an approach centered on selected water and flowers, handmade production, and natural materials, while avoiding synthetic preservatives, colorants, and odorants. In 2010, it became Japan’s first organic cosmetics maker to receive USDA organic recognition. The brand introduced MACOTT PARFUMS as a separate fragrance identity in 2016, reflecting Makoto Miyazaki’s long-term work with organic rose materials and natural fragrance. In October 2018, its Aoyama shop was converted into the MACOTT laboratory and fragrance salon as sourcing high-quality natural materials became more difficult and the company drew on its collection of rare materials. Rose is the clearest recurring focus in the fragrance archive, with White Rose and Pink Rose Otto among its documented vintage perfumes.
