Aramis
Created by Estée Lauder in 1963 and introduced in 1964, Aramis began as a prestige men’s fragrance and grooming line. It was developed around an elegant men’s cologne intended to express classic masculinity and sophistication. With a 20-product master plan, the brand pioneered prestige men’s grooming and became the first prestige men’s fragrance sold in department stores around the world. Aramis remains part of The Estée Lauder Companies’ brand portfolio. Its fragrance identity centers on masculine prestige fragrance, grooming, and classic scents, with the original Aramis fragrance serving as its clearest defining example. In 2009, several established fragrances were grouped as the Aramis Gentleman’s Collection. In 2025, the brand launched Intuition with Dwyane Wade as global ambassador; Wade worked with Aramis on the campaign narrative and creative expression, presenting the scent through a newer conception of masculinity.
