Areej Le Doré

Areej Le Doré was created in 2017 by Russian Adam and founded in the United Kingdom. The brand grew from his work as an agarwood-oil distiller, using rare and often neglected aromatic materials and distillation techniques to reconnect perfumery with older traditions through a modern interpretation. Its identity draws on Russian, Arabian, and French cultural references, with oud, rose, sandalwood, jasmine, musk, and other rare natural materials recurring in its olfactory vocabulary. By 2022, the brand had expanded from pure oils into attar mixtures and Eau de Parfums. Its History of Attar collection marked a move toward alcohol-based perfumes inspired by classic Indian attars, with additional ingredients used to develop the formulas. In 2023, Areej Le Doré released Classics Collection 2023, a limited-edition relaunch of fragrances Russian Adam had created over the preceding six years. Russian Oud was described that year as more popular than the other fragrances in the relaunch context and combines oud oil with a chocolate accord.
