Arielle Shoshana
Arielle Shoshana was founded by Arielle Shoshana Weinberg in 2015 as the Washington, D.C. area’s first niche fragrance boutique. Drawing on Weinberg’s experience at two New York perfumeries, the business was shaped as a place for fragrance discovery and storytelling, treating perfume as wearable art. It later grew from a neighborhood boutique into an international fragrance brand, with Katri Haas joining as co-owner after first becoming a customer and the two owners developing the brand together. Its creative identity centers on a “perfume playground” and an imaginative collection organized around the days of the week. The first fragrance arrived in 2017 as Arielle Shoshana Eau de Parfum and was later renamed Saturday; Friday and Monday followed, then Tuesday in 2024. Monday, built around an Earl Grey tea and London Fog idea, was identified as the collection’s bestseller in a 2024 interview. In 2025, the brand launched Wednesday with Michelle Visage, her first perfume.
