Arkive

Arkive launched in 2023 as a haircare brand founded by British hairstylist Adam Reed, following his work with Charles Worthington and as co-founder of Percy & Reed. Its central idea, Headcare, brings hair styling and care together with daily moments of reconnection and improved self-feeling. The concept developed during the pandemic, when Reed connected salon rituals, fragrance, self-care and community with mental wellbeing. In October 2024, Arkive introduced its first fragrance collection for both hair and skin, expanding beyond fragranced haircare. Its original proprietary scents, Future Bloom and No One Elsie, draw on memories including summer walks and Reed’s grandmother’s greenhouse. Fragrance is integrated into Arkive’s wider Headcare philosophy, supporting personal expression and wellbeing alongside hair care.
