Aromas de Salazar

Created in California in 2021 by independent perfumer Michael Salazar, Aromas de Salazar is a fragrance house centered on handcrafted production, with formulas developed and bottled by hand in small batches. Its fragrances use natural essences, including absolutes, resins, tinctures, and essential oils, although the formulas are not entirely natural. The creative process is concept-led rather than trend-led, drawing on nature, memories, places, emotions, and unexpected combinations of materials. The Heritage Collection is presented as the house’s signature body of creations and as a representation of who it is today, combining tradition with innovation. It is also described as an evolving form of artistic expression rather than a fixed historical archive.
