Arquinesia

Arquinesia is a fragrance brand shaped by journeys around the Mediterranean and an affection for the Balearic Islands. Founded as the project of a Swiss creative couple whose interests included photography and interior design, it draws on Mallorca’s landscape, popular iconography, and the varied aromas and travel memories associated with the islands. Its public identity centers on artisanal fragrances connected to Balearic culture, local landscapes, memory, and the stories attached to each collection. The brand’s principal shop is in central Palma de Mallorca, known in its storytelling as “The Secret Place”; a second shop opened in Barcelona’s historic former Arlequí Máscaras premises by August 2024. Its first fragrance collection, Discovery, brought together Sea Breeze, Secret Garden, Fig, Orange, Scent of History, and Silencio. The Island Discovery Collection is described as handcrafted in Mallorca and inspired by sea breeze, figs, hidden gardens, and island light. In 2024, Arquinesia introduced Voyage, a collection focused on inner and outer journeys, emotions, memories, and destinations.
