Arsenal

Arsenal is documented as a 1996 fragrance credited to Arsenal Marketing Ltd and made in association with Parfums Gilles Cantuel. It sits within the Gilles Cantuel perfume business, established by Lynda Gregory de Valdés with her sister-in-law; after Lynda and her husband entered the Paris perfume industry, her first women’s fragrance, Pulsions, was followed by men’s fragrances including Arsenal. By 2000, press described Arsenal as Lynda’s latest men’s eau de parfum under the Gilles Cantuel Paris name, while sculptural bottle forms and color helped shape its presentation. The Arsenal line is especially associated with grenade-shaped bottles, and reference databases record later releases including Arsenal Blue, Arsenal Red, Arsenal Black, Arsenal Women, and Arsenal Sensuality.
