Art Meets Art

Art Meets Art is a French independent perfume house born in Paris in 2017 and founded by Ali Kashani. Its premise brings together niche perfumery and music: fragrances are designed in Paris and made in France, with each project beginning by securing rights to a named song before perfumers translate its world and story into scent. The house’s early collection included Sexual Healing, Like A Virgin, and I Put A Spell On You, alongside work by perfumers including Alberto Morillas and Christophe Raynaud. Like A Virgin, created by Morillas from Madonna’s song, is a clear expression of the format and was identified at launch as Art Meets Art’s representative work. Documented collaborators also include Frank Voelkl and Fabrice Pellegrin.
