Art of Scent - Swiss Perfumes

Art of Scent – Swiss Perfumes is a small perfume manufactory near Bern whose creations have been made since 2007. Founded by Brigitte Witschi, with Christian Siegenthaler as her business partner, the brand has developed a creative identity rooted in Swiss landscapes and local memory. Its fragrances draw on the Alps, forests, alpine flowers, and the lakes and waters around Bern, with each scent connected to an individual story. Witschi’s fragrance practice was shaped by earlier work with visually impaired and multiply disabled children and adolescents, where she refined her knowledge of essences, ingredients, aromas, and their effects. Identified as the brand’s perfumer and creative figure, she also presents personalized perfume creation in Bern. The Bergduft collection expresses the Swiss mountain landscape through Edelweiss, Blauer Enzian, and Silberdistel. A second strand appears in the Bern Collection, where Aarewasser interprets the Aare River and Bern’s local environment.
