Artimique

Founded in Venice in 2023 by Sara Marzocchini, Artimique is an independent Italian perfume house whose name joins “art” and “chimique” to express a meeting of creativity, art, and chemistry. Marzocchini came to perfumery through studies in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies, training at the GIP perfumery school in Grasse, work as a pharmacist, and further experience in a Florence apothecary and perfume laboratory. As creator and creative director, she coordinates a process that turns memories, stories, and emotions into fragrance, drawing on Venice, travel, nature, and personal scent memories while combining classical perfumery knowledge with contemporary originality. Cristiano Canali collaborated with Marzocchini on Artimique’s initial fragrances and is credited as their perfumer; the house’s first three fragrances debuted in March 2023. Jasmin Gyokuro was a finalist in the Independent category of the 2024 Art and Olfaction Awards.
