Asghar Adam Ali

Asghar Adam Ali Parfums launched in 2024 as the latest fragrance venture of master perfumer Asghar Adam Ali, whose family background in perfumery gave him early exposure to fragrance materials and blending. Based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the brand draws on Arab heritage, desert landscapes, and the energy of the Arab world while presenting a modern oriental fragrance style. Before launching the house, Ali founded Nabeel Perfumes in Aden, Yemen, in 1969; Nabeel later developed into a UAE-based fragrance business. He subsequently created The Spirit of Dubai, which launched in 2015. Ali remains the brand’s central creative figure, blending its fragrances with his signature accords, either independently or alongside other perfumers. The brand’s 2024 debut was presented as a four-fragrance Signature Collection. Its wider fragrance story also connects to Shumukh, unveiled through The Spirit of Dubai in 2019; Guinness World Records recognized its bottle for having 3,571 diamonds, the most set on a perfume bottle.
