Astrophil & Stella

Astrophil & Stella is an Italian fragrance brand founded in 2019, with its first perfumes introduced in 2020. Developed in Turin for Gida Profumi, it builds its identity around a cosmic love story between Astrophil, a mortal, and Stella, a deity—a concept linked to Philip Sidney’s Astrophil and Stella sonnet sequence. The brand’s creative method combines Italian design with collaboration among international perfumers, treating fragrance as a form of storytelling connected to history, philosophy, art, places, eras, cultures, and atmospheres. Its first perfumes were created with Chris Maurice, Cécile Zarokian, Bertrand Duchaufour, and Luca Maffei. In 2024, Astrophil & Stella presented In Extremis at Esxence as a tribute to Caravaggio, with Meo Fusciuni composing the fragrance around the painter’s chiaroscuro. The brand is currently presented as part of Gida Profumi Srl Società Unipersonale.
