Aswan

Aswan was founded in 2025 in Emmaboda, Sweden, as an independent house under Pana Dora Sweden. Named for the Egyptian city on the Nile, the brand builds its public identity around ancient Egypt, drawing on Egyptian gods, myths, and symbolic figures. Its visual language includes temple-inspired architecture, a pyramid-shaped cap, and an Isis-inspired emblem. Ibrahim Al-Zoubi is credited as the figure behind Aswan; he founded Pana Dora Sweden in 2019 after more than 30 years as a perfumer for major international fragrance companies. Aswan launched a 12-fragrance collection in 2025. Each fragrance is presented as a separate interpretation of a god, queen, protector, or creator, including Anubis and Aset.
