Atelier Flou
Atelier Flou was publicly introduced in March 2010 as a niche perfume line by Jean-François Cabos, working with perfumer Jacques Chabert. Presented as a French haute-parfumerie house in Paris, it applies the language of the haute-couture workshop to perfumery: its name refers to the couture technique known as “flou.” The brand’s creative process draws on Cabos’s poetry and drawings, which are developed into fragrances with perfumer Jacques Chabert; its official account further describes each perfume as beginning with a poem by Cabos and being interpreted by artisans in Grasse. Atelier-Flou International was incorporated in Luxembourg on January 31, 2014, with Cabos identified as its sole shareholder at formation. The brand is currently listed with Althea Group as its parent company. Its fragrance history begins with Monsieur mon Amour, a 2010 debut fragrance created by Chabert in association with Cabos.
