Atelier PMP
Atelier PMP is a Hamburg, Germany niche-fragrance label founded by Stefanie Mayr and Daniel Plettenberg, who met in the city in 2012. The founders developed fragrance concepts on St. Pauli and worked with independent perfumers including Mark Buxton, David Chieze, and Scott Moroschan. The brand pairs individual, unisex compositions with conceptual narratives and values of tolerance, openness, empathy, solidarity, and care. It received Germany’s Culture and Creative Pilots recognition for 2014/2015, announced in 2015. In January 2017, its third fragrance, Anti Anti, explored freedom of mind, freedom of being, and the freedom to be different; that work was also a finalist in the Independent category of the 2017 Art and Olfaction Awards. Atelier PMP’s fragrance legacy is anchored by Dreckig Bleiben, its first major fragrance project, created with Mark Buxton and centered on an unguarded moment among family or close friends. It became the brand’s top seller and remained so at the time of a 2022 interview.
