Aura of Kazakhstan

Aura of Kazakhstan was founded by Olga Berner, and its fragrance-development project began in autumn 2018 with the aim of expressing Kazakhstan’s landscapes, cultural heritage, and sense of homeland. The brand entered the market in August 2020. Its identity translates the country’s mountains, steppes, cities, historical sites, and nomadic cultural symbolism into fragrance, linking its compositions to the history and future of the Great Steppe. Creative director Julia Lukyanenko helped shape the second development phase by broadening collection briefs and selecting compositions to match intended memories and images of Kazakhstan. Early releases were organized into Flowers, Geographical/Points, and History collections. Aura of Kazakhstan received first prize in the niche-premium packaging category at the FiFi Awards Russia 2020. In 2025, it introduced Silence of the Lakes, created with perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour and inspired by the Sibiny Lakes in Eastern Kazakhstan.
