Ayala Moriel
Ayala Moriel Parfums is an independent artisan perfume house founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 2001 by perfumer Ayala Moriel. It began as Quinta Essentia Signature Perfumes and adopted the Ayala Moriel Parfums name in 2006, reflecting a personal relationship between perfumer and customer centered on custom perfumes and personalized consultations. Its creative identity is rooted in natural perfumery, with fragrances designed and handcrafted from botanical essences and natural materials. Moriel, who is self-taught, draws on childhood memories of Clil in Israel’s Western Galilee, including its herbs, flowers, and Mediterranean landscape, as well as influences from fine art, music, philosophy, psychology, and education. In 2009, Hanami was released through an exhibition combining natural botanical perfumery, poetry, and photography. Espionage is one of Moriel’s most popular perfumes, with a concept inspired by John le Carré’s novels.
