Azaleo

Azaleo was founded in 2020 by Swiss lifestyle influencer and fashion designer Soraya Bakhtiar and incorporated through Azaleo Sàrl in Geneva, with fragrance commerce among its stated purposes. Bakhtiar brought together a Swiss upbringing with Egyptian and Iranian family origins; after moving to London, she worked in fashion before developing the brand through an interest in perfumery and visits to Grasse. Azaleo’s creative identity connected fragrance with astrology, meditation, rituals and positive energy, expressing an intuitive, spiritual and celestial approach. Perfumer Stéphanie Bakouche shaped the debut fragrances after meeting Bakhtiar in Grasse. The Voyage Celeste collection presented three scents designed to be worn separately or layered, with Voile de Lune serving as the base for Sun to Soul and Bois Bohème; its structure drew on celestial imagery and the four elements. Azaleo’s official website now states that the brand is officially closed.
