AZUR DE PUIG

Azur de Puig is a fragrance launched by Puig in 1969, linking it to the Barcelona-based company founded by Antonio Puig Castelló in 1914. Its arrival followed Puig’s creation of the Paco Rabanne perfume division in France in 1968 and formed part of the fragrance successes developed during the company’s second-generation expansion. Puig described Azur as a leading feminine fragrance, while its French historical milestones identify it as a bestseller in the women’s fragrance market. The scent also has a documented personal resonance, having been associated with many people’s first adolescence. Its packaging passed through several geometric forms, with those changes accompanied by modifications to the fragrance. On May 3, 2024, Puig Brands began trading on Spain’s principal stock exchanges after its initial public offering, marking a material change in the corporate structure behind the brand.
