Azya

Azya is a Munich-based perfume brand operated by Azya GmbH, which entered Munich’s commercial register on 22 October 2021 with a business purpose covering perfume and related products. Founded by Azya, the brand draws on her heritage as a member of the nomadic Afar people, born in Eritrea and raised in Ethiopia and Djibouti. Its creative identity connects African roots and cultural expression with Italian perfume craftsmanship, returning to the nature and landscapes of the Horn of Africa for inspiration. The inaugural collection comprises six individual unisex Extraits de Parfum, created in Italy and inspired by Africa. The collection is unified by volcanic geography, with its fragrances named after East African volcanoes or volcanic regions. Dubbi, launched in 2024, is an unisex fragrance inspired by Eritrea’s Dubbi stratovolcano.
