B.ATES

B.ATES is an Istanbul-based Turkish perfume brand founded by Bünyamin Ateş in 2009. Its roots are connected to Türkiye’s cultural heritage, while Ateş’s interest in fragrance dates to childhood. The brand presents itself as a fragrance-design platform that also designs packaging and provides production support. Its olfactory concept treats perfume notes like musical notes, focusing on the harmony created when distinct notes combine and on their interaction with the wearer’s individual skin scent. In 2022, B.ATES launched its first collection under its own name, the Milestones series, created in collaboration with Arturetto Landi, Bünyamin Ateş, Julie Massé, and Mark Buxton. Across its fragrance work, recurring concepts include woody, amber, oriental, leather-oud, citrus-woody, and bitter-almond-liquor compositions.
