Badgley Mischka

Mark Badgley and James Mischka met at Parsons School of Design in New York and launched their namesake label in 1988. The brand’s creative identity interprets classic Hollywood glamour through streamlined, elegant design, fine fabrics, craftsmanship, and special-occasion dressing. It evolved from couture and evening gowns into day dresses, sportswear, bridalwear, accessories, fragrance, and home-related categories. Since 2016, Badgley Mischka LLC has been described as a privately held independent company, with Badgley and Mischka continuing as partners and leading the brand’s artistic vision. Its eponymous fragrance launched in 2006 as a delicate, feminine scent connected to the designers’ eveningwear and Hollywood-glamour identity; it was selected as the best new scent for fall 2006 by O, The Oprah Magazine. Forest Noir followed in 2019 as a darker, more sensual counterpart within the floral family. In February 2024, the brand debuted its Voyage Collection, a prestige fragrance collection developed from the designers’ travel stories, at its fall 2024 New York Fashion Week show with Horizon Beauty Group.
