Bahfamsn Fragrance

Bahfamsn Fragrance is an artisan perfume house established in 2020 in North Borneo, Malaysia, founded by Sonali Said and Kriss Mokhtar. Its regional identity draws on Sabah, North Borneo, hometown memories and local travel routes, while its creative inspiration includes memories, places, music, food and art. The house’s fragrances are handmade in small batches. Its 2022 work included My Village and Siberian Musk, an interpretation of a founder’s grandmother’s village and weekend road trips, and Borneo Tea, a tea-centered composition with tropical fruit, rose, woods and musk. A 2022 profile also highlighted Osiris, Luwak Touch and Morning in Kundasang among its newer creations and presented Bahfamsn among independent Malaysian perfumers.
