Baïja

Baïja was founded in 2012 by Elisabeth Arnaud and Fabrice Saïd, who brought experience in decoration and a passion for cosmetics. The brand’s name comes from Saïd’s grandmother’s first name and means “the one who smiles” in Syria. Baïja is a French cosmetics and fragrance brand built around natural-origin ingredients, unexpected olfactory combinations, and sensorial collections spanning body care and home fragrance. By 2019, its collections expressed the brand’s personality through sensory and emotional universes developed with perfume, ingredient, and design specialists. Its public identity centers on Feel the Good, a positive, colourful, gourmet, and sensorial approach in which each collection has a distinct olfactory universe. In 2023, investment firm Ciclad took a majority stake in Bains & Nature, the company operating Baïja, alongside the founders. In March 2025, Bains & Nature acquired Nailmatic through a court-supervised takeover. Baïja’s Moana collection is identified as an iconic best-seller, built around a solar floral fragrance of tiaré flower, coconut, and tuberose offered across body-care and home-fragrance formats.
