Baldinini
Baldinini traces its origins to 1910 in San Mauro di Pascoli, Italy, where it began as a small workshop making footwear entirely by hand. In 1974, the brand created its first sabot, or clog, and production reached 500 pairs per day, marking a shift from artisan work toward industrial manufacturing. International expansion began through Germany and France before Baldinini entered the Russian market, which it identifies as a decisive stage in its development. Its identity combines Italian craftsmanship and continuity with its roots with design evolution, creativity, and contemporary style. From 2012, Baldinini worked with the University of Bologna to organize and digitize its historical footwear archive. The brand also extended into fragrance in 2016–2017 through the Multicolor Leather Straps line, a partnership with Paglieri through Selectiva that comprised five unisex eau de parfums. In 2026, a new reference shareholder injected capital to support restructuring and a four-year relaunch plan, accompanied by a return to cleaner forms, lightness, versatility, contemporary luxury, and communication rooted in Romagna.
